Each pair of shoes in the Kasai line is crafted from a single handwoven mat of Kuba cloth, made with raffia tree fibers and natural plant dyes.
 
Kuba cloth is revered worldwide for their intricate and complex designs - each reflecting the weavers skill and imagination.
These fabrics are patiently hand-woven using techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Each pair features its own distinctive pattern, texture, and color intensity- no two pairs are identical.
